Konark Lighting Solutions is a growing lighting company providing commercial, architectural, residential, and industrial lighting solutions, including Smart and Automation-Ready Lighting. They are seeking a Junior Accountant / Accounts Assistant in Pune to support day-to-day accounts and back-office operations.

Job Details

• Location: Pune (In person)
• Pay: ₹8,280.88 - ₹17,500.00 per month
• Reports To: Akansha / Management

Responsibilities

Accounting & Data Entry

• Enter purchase bills, sales invoices, and expense vouchers in Tally Prime.
• Record receipts and payments accurately.
• Maintain petty cash records.
• Assist with day-to-day accounting entries and documentation.
• Ensure all accounting entries are properly supported with bills and documents.

Bank & Payment Reconciliation

• Perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Match payments and receipts with invoices.
• Follow up internally for missing payment or expense-related documents.
• Assist in maintaining accurate outstanding customer and supplier records.

Purchase & Supplier Accounts

• Enter and verify supplier purchase bills.
• Maintain supplier account records.
• Assist in reconciling supplier statements.
• Coordinate with suppliers for missing invoices, debit notes, or credit notes.

Customer Accounts

• Maintain customer ledger records.
• Assist in checking customer outstanding amounts.
• Coordinate internally regarding payments received and pending balances.
• Assist in invoice and payment reconciliation.

GST & Compliance Support

• Maintain proper records of GST-related purchase and sales invoices.
• Assist the senior accountant/CA in preparing required accounting information.
• Ensure invoices and bills are properly organised for GST filing.
• Assist with reconciliation of GST-related data as required.

Documentation & Back Office Support

• Maintain organised physical and digital records of invoices, bills, and financial documents.
• Prepare basic Excel reports and summaries when required.
• Assist Akansha and management with accounts-related MIS and information.
• Coordinate with the CA and other external accounting professionals when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) preferred.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of Tally Prime.
• Basic understanding of GST.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain organised records.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently after training.
• Freshers with good Tally knowledge may also apply.
