This is a full-time Company Secretary role based in Chennai within the NBFC / Financial Services industry, offering a salary of ₹75,000.00 to ₹90,000.00 per month.

Responsibilities

• Manage Board, Committee, and Shareholders’ meetings.
• Prepare agendas, minutes, resolutions, and Board documents.
• Handle ROC filings and Companies Act compliances.
• Ensure compliance with RBI/NBFC regulations and Master Directions.
• Monitor KYC, AML, PMLA, Fair Practices Code, and related compliances.
• Maintain statutory registers and compliance records.
• Prepare and monitor compliance calendars.
• Coordinate with auditors, legal advisors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Support RBI inspections, secretarial audits, and regulatory filings.
• Assist with fundraising, borrowings, mergers, restructuring, and other corporate matters.
• Advise management and the Board on governance and regulatory requirements.
• Track regulatory changes and update management accordingly.

Requirements

• Qualified Company Secretary (ACS/FCS) from ICSI.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in Company Secretarial and compliance roles.
• Experience in NBFC / Financial Services is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Companies Act and RBI/NBFC regulations.
• Hands-on experience in ROC filings, Board meetings, and statutory compliances.
• Knowledge of KYC, AML, PMLA, FEMA, and SEBI regulations is an advantage.
• Good communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
• LLB / CA Inter / CMA Inter will be an added advantage.
