Agilent is seeking a Taxation Manager to provide tax advice, services, and compliance support at the enterprise and entity levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax advice and services in assigned areas of technical expertise (including income tax, transaction tax, property tax, corporate legal structure, acquisitions and divestitures, transfer pricing, and intercompany transactions) to Agilent at enterprise and entity levels, as well as to managers and employees.
• Handle compliance (including SOX), transfer pricing, planning, and training.
• Research, prepare, analyze, and document tax issues and compliance for the geographic and process area of responsibility, including related systems and accounting understanding, working with outside advisors where appropriate.
• Partner with businesses and other functions to implement business or process changes.
• Participate in the formulation, coordination, and implementation of Agilent's global tax strategy with the objective of optimizing global after-tax results.
• Represent Agilent in audits, litigation, and other negotiations with government authorities relating to tax matters.
• Participate in cross-functional projects partnering with finance and non-finance functions, such as the Corporate Controllership Organization, Corporate Financial Reporting, Human Resources, Legal, Corporate Development, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Order Management.
