Answering "Tell Me About Yourself" Without Rambling
A 90-second structure that works for campus placements and firm interviews alike.

The three-part answer
- Where you are now (one sentence)
- The two experiences that got you here (thirty seconds)
- Why this role, specifically (one sentence)
“Ninety seconds. If you need more, you have not decided what matters.”
Use academic projects, competitions, or your articleship. Specificity matters more than prestige.
Memorise the structure, not the words. Memorised sentences sound memorised.
